Pushed it today and ran 10 miles!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wasn't intending to do 10 miles today but I felt so good this time around I just kept running. I didn't have " lead legs" at any point this time around because I didn't walk 3.6 miles earlier in the day like I had with my 8.5 miler. I also had a Lara bar with me...JIC...I needed it! I don't eat sugar but these little dried fruit, all natural babies are what are going to fuel me for the half marathon. It did just the trick!

I experienced quite a "high" at about mile 6.5 this time around. I also had some left in me at the end so I sprinted the last 400 meters or so!!!

How could I get to that point where I would enjoy running more than half a block? How did you do it?

I am soooo proud of you it's so amazing what you have accomplished this past year. Who would have thought you would be able to run and actually enjoy it?!!! It takes a lot of time and effort to get your body in running shape and of course it hurts for awhile too! You could do it Lindsay especially if you have a goal in mind. Look around for a 5K and do it with Joann in the stroller or with Devin (as long as he promises to do your pace!). I'm to the point now that I look forward to getting up and running outside even in 30 degree weather. And the secret to that? Lots of layers!
