I treated my self to some new clothes!

I have been buying a few things here and there that fit me better so as not to walk around in "fat" clothes. I can wear anything that is a size 14 but now I can wear quite a few things that are a size 12...not all yet...but a lot more than 2 weeks ago. I decided to go to Ross and see what I could find. 1 dress and 2 skirts...pretty good. I also went to Target and found this cuteness! SIZE 12!Okay, it is stretchy but hey who's counting:) I LOVE being a smaller size now! It is kind of wierd because I don't fell like I am smaller than I was but I just have to look back at the pictures and PROOF positive!

Coming soon: A reveal of a new a fabulous milestone!!!!! April 1st..don't miss it:)

Hello Danelle --

All I can say is WOO-HOO! YOU look FABULOUS, my dear, and that is one stylish size 12 dress.

I've had some small increase in weight, mostly due to not being able to completely control my eating behavior while on travel.(Darn it, that coconut ice cream was just TOO GOOD!) It was way too hot to exercise or go on long walks. I could only get in the pool once a day because of fear of too much sun exposure.

I do want you to know that your yogurt and pumpkin concoction is so delicious. I had it once on our trip to Mexico, and now am making some more for my dessert treat tonight!

I appreciate all of your comments on my blog. Sorry I haven't responded, but we've been touched by some family tragedy involving my husband's sister and brother-in-law in Virginia. He has had a stroke and she can't handle their finances. We are so far away, and even the other sister in Boston can't help very much. She and her husband in their 60s are still both working.

Also, after having no problems from his back surgery in 1998, my husband developed some really intense back pain last week. We spent hours at the Urgent Care location for Kaiser Permanente down in Clackamas to get some medication on Saturday. Hubby will have to get an MRI if the pain doesn't subside.

Anyway, nice to see your site again. Are you involved with Twitter.com? I started using it and it's kind of fun. I don't think there are ANY 69 year old women on it, but it's great to be in the company of thousands of fascinating people.
